Executive Summary

**Alliance for HOPE International** is one of the leading systems and social change organizations in the country focused on creating innovative, collaborative, trauma-informed, hope-centered approaches to empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. Alliance for HOPE International and its allied Family Justice Centers and Camp HOPE America programs serve more than 150,000 adult and child survivors each year in the United States. The Alliance supports Family Justice Centers in 45 states and 51 Camp HOPE America programs in 26 states. Annually, we train more than 35,000 multi-disciplinary professionals. Our Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention program focuses on direct support for adult and child survivors of strangulation assaults, and our DomesticShelters.org program provides online resources to more than 1 million survivors per year. Our Justice Project helps families of murdered loved ones in cases where there is a prior history of domestic violence and then the death is staged to look like a suicide, accident, or drug overdose. We run the country's largest camping and mentoring program for children impacted by domestic violence. Many on our team are survivors with a mission to end the school to prison pipeline traveled by so many children and youth in America who are impacted by trauma, violence, and the force multipliers of historic oppression, racism, and poverty which produce disparate impacts on communities of color. We create pathways to hope and well-being for thousands of women, children, and men who are victims of domestic and sexual violence, elder abuse, and human trafficking through collaborative, integrated multi-disciplinary approaches and mentoring programs that empower them to break the generational cycle of violence and abuse in families. Our application seeks funding for Camp HOPE America.
