As a part of the Social Impact team for Lever for Change, Vernon provides programmatic and technical supports to Bold Solutions Network members. Prior to joining the team in June 2020, Vernon was a Senior Associate for Justice at the National Association of Counties in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for managing program deliverables for their criminal justice grant portfolio. Vernon also worked as a management and program analyst with the US Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid and a case manager with Year Up Chicago.

Vernon earned his B.A. in Sociology from Northwestern University and his M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
