Muhsin Hassan is a Senior Awards Director at Lever for Change, where he serves as the client lead and primary relationship manager for donor partners who sponsor customized competitions or fund proposals through the Bold Solutions Network. Muhsin supports our clients during the competition life cycle, including design, implementation, and advisory support around decision-making points. Muhsin has spent his career at the intersection of philanthropy, international development, and strategy consulting. Prior to Lever for Change, Muhsin worked at a global strategy consultancy firm advising HNWIs, foundations, and non-governmental organizations on advancing socio-economic and political development in the global South. He began his career at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) where he worked on several issue areas including economic growth, democracy & governance, conflict mitigation, and peacebuilding. He speaks six languages and has international experience spanning 11 countries. Muhsin serves as a board director for Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) and as a member of Talent Beyond Boundaries U.S. advisory council. Muhsin received both his MPA in International Development and A.B. in Public Policy from Princeton University.
